SACRIFICIAL LOVE

John 3:16 speaks more about this kind of love.God loved us so much that he gave his best and only son to redeem us from the enemies claws.This is sacrificial kind of love.The word of God commands us to love one another with this kind of love.our love should be without hypocrisy.Jesus loved us willingly.no body pressurized him to die for us.it was sacrificial kind of love.

THANKSGIVING.

Yesterday we had a great day in our church.it was a thanksgiving day.We were refocusing on the doings of the lord for the past years.Indeed it is because of his mercies that are new every morning that we are not consumed.God has been so gracious to us as a church and as individual members of Christian harvest centre.The lord has given us strength and ability to serve him.Thats why we have come before the lord with thanksgiving to acknowledge his faithfulness and goodness in our lives and ministries.

Thats far we can say he is Ebenezer.no matter what is happening around us we have chosen this day to give him thanks.Jonah, in Jonah 2:9 gave thanksgiving to God while in a belly of a fish,and as a resulted God commanded the fish to vomit him on the dry land in Nineveh. Thanksgiving touches God and moves his hand into action.Psalm 50:14-15 teaches us that he who sacrifices a thanksgiving offering to God,prepares a way for God to show his salvation to him or her.

We bless the lord for he has been there for us throughout the years. And we  trust even in this year he will be with us.He will lead us,fight our battles and give us the victory.Dear friends let us give him thanks for the past,trust him for the future and he will be with us.He is the Alfa and the omega,the beginning and the end.He has been where we are are going.and he who has begun good works in us will carry it to completion.
